@Mads-Hintz-Madsen thanks for the hint, Mads. Will check and try. The problem I see is that this has never been an issue for more than 2 years with the old Bluetooth firmware and just appeared after the major redesign. I hope that Suunto is aware of this issue and does something about it. My Race is on the bike, so technically never far away from the pedals on stops, and two days ago the connection dropped even mid-ride without a pause. I just wish the Pause menu had a connections settings so I can actively check&reconnect…

@Brad_Olwin, @far-blue thanks for your answers…! Good to hear that it must be possible! I’ll dig around a little bit and try connecting the phone to the car without a connection to the Ocean… I think, I should manage to set things up. Thanks, Frank

@Olaf-Gottschalk said in What are the chances that proper Bluetooth accessory management is added to the Race?: @Mff73 …from 2018??? That is 5 years ago and nothing was done here? Cry Yes it seems so… Hey but look at the Problem on the Vertical AND Race with incorrect Synchronisation from the TSB, CTL, ATL values since the RACE Release in October. When i count correctly then i hope a update to change the values will come in 2028 be realistic, look deeper in this Forum and you will got a answer for you Problems, Like “this question is there since many years without changing”. And If you read between the textlines you will know what exactly the major Problem is.

Dear @egika , absolutely yes! My aim was not to go out of scope from the original question about the Shortcuts customization. That said everyone is absolutely free to say and write whatever they want. Best

@dragan-petrovic Huawei in general is very hard in saving battery and therefore killing apps and functions. you can try to setup you battery or power saver to exclude Suunto App from being restricted

@Piotrd - tends to reduce battery life, as when no bluetooth connection it automatically turns on wifi (you can switch this off); however now that your connection issue is resolved it shouldn’t be a major issue going forward. PS - would recommend switching play store on watch to manual update - you will get a notification when their is an app to update, and this way it stops the watch choosing an inoportune mate to update (when it might try and use wifi when there isn’t and or end up using bluetooth for download - which can take up quite a bit of juice).

@NickK Interesting observations with playback! When I start out it is bad and gets much better. I don’t know if this is interference or some other problem. For the first 0.5km I get a lot of dropouts and then stabilizes and is great. I am using AirPods Pro for my earphones.
