@mafxxx Are you sure you are comparing the exact same lighting conditions? I’ve had mine for a similar length of time and find that there are conditions where the back light makes hardly any difference and others where it does. Because of this I wish they would make the heart rate and GPS indicators at the beginning of an exercise bigger and contrast the background more so I can more easily see whether the watch is ready for me to start my exercise. I’d also like a regular (non exercise) watch face with white background and black letters and numbers I love the watch otherwise.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos …i always run outside even with -20C…but the last few days i was a bit sick so decided to give it a go to the treadmill. I noticed that distance difference between S9B and the treadmill was quite noticeable, reason being that the preset pace on treadmill was 5:08 min/Km but on the watch said 6:09…so obviously the dstance was quite different at the end. Is there anything i am missin here ?? Thanks

@chrisa yes, i could do that, but it’s definitely a pain to have to change it before and then after each tennis session…

@epictetus Ah, now I see. By default, the Suunto app loaded all of the Suunto Plus Features. When I deleted all bar one of these, the Guides were all suddenly available on my watch. It would have been helpful if Suunto had explained that there was a limit on the number of apps that could be loaded!

@Francesco-Pagano support can be reached in the app, BTW, and that should be the official way to contact them. I have never had this issue so I do not know what causes it, but it seems to me that it affects mostly people using an external HR monitor.

Yes I wanted to know what happens with the walking excercise because the end of it after entering the staircase seems to disappear. The ascent/descent function wit the Suunto 5 is always so inaccurate that it is not really useful anyways.

@Sebastien-Boulanger I would suggest to try the standard things and if nothing works contact support also. Things like clearing the cache, or even reinstalling the app from scratch. Also which version of the app are you using? And did you update Android recently?

@reesmt78 I ask myself whether constant charging and incomplete charging cycle would affect battery health in the long run. I personally would rather opt for bigger battery then the solar charger option, but I can see this as a feature for through hikers.
