Too many posts about zonesense, I continue here for this bug (not related to race S as I have a SV). Run with only S+ ZoneSense yesterday (removing climb app) and nothing was stuck. Tends to prove, like others, a relation between ZS and other apps in parallel.

@surfboomerang I don’t think firmware update or SuuntoPlus app update should reset SuuntoPlus app configuration, at least in Suunto Vertical or Suunto Race. If I remember correctly, SuuntoPlus app data is stored in eMMC that is not erased in firmware update. But Suunto 9 Peak Pro might be different as it doesn’t have eMMC, therefore SuuntoPlus app configuration is probably reset in firmware update. Uninstalling SuuntoPlus app from watch will reset configuration, I think that’s by design.

@sartoric This. And that ICE info sometimes resets to “–”. Not sure if this after a firmware update, S+ update or just randomly.

@Dareo Issue resolved with soft reset of watch. Now it’s time to start making sense (pun intended) of all the data.

Thanks @isazi! Then I understand that S+ apps have a persistent space in memory that can be written/read over the different activites. Super!

@Dušan-Ković this is the reason why, while the app shows both distance and time during execution, you can only have one of the two exported after activity, and this can be configured in Suunto App. Default is time.

Plus 1 from me on this one. The drink alerts are super-easy to just turn on rather than having to setup but the default “200ml” is meaningless and the sum total hydration is consequently useless. My ‘slurps’ are much closer to 20ml

I’m not sure if this is related but today I had a workout where the last step was an open one to ‘run back’ and I completed it with the lap button. I believe it did complete the workout and I soon after stopped the activity as usual however I then found the laps that should have been created as part of the structured workout had disappeared and the entire structured workout duration was lumped into a single lap and where I’d pressed the lap button to complete the workout step had been recorded as the transition from lap 1 to lap 2 rather than appending the workout laps. I hope that makes sense! Basically I expected laps for warmup, tempo interval, recovery, another tempo interval, and a cooldown (with the manual end on lap button). What I actually got was 47 mins (the entire structured workout) for lap 1 and 20s for lap 2 where I walked, paused then stopped the activity.

@Zdeněk-Hruška Thanks, but since I do not use Strava, the discussion is about helpful improvements of the Ghost Runner app.
