Some none official hints: Version: 2.40.56 Release start: From September 16, 2025 (rolling out gradually worldwide, including Europe) Main Updates / Fixes Diving features: Tissue reset after a dive “Deviation alarm” active only during dives Fixed issue where certain alarms stayed active after a dive Tank pressure alarms restored when pressure rises back above the threshold Improved consistency of MOD (Maximum Operating Depth) calculations Sports / Outdoor / Navigation: New map options for snorkeling, freediving, and mermaiding Improved accuracy for pool swimming distance tracking Adjustable display brightness during snorkeling/diving Improved step counter accuracy. I hope the sport modes update will be more than like this and it will contained all of the features as race2 and run.

    I have the same problem, but with Suunto Ocean. Sunto Tank Pod DP173 not showing up. ‘No Tank Pod fouind’ message. However, I also have a Suunto VyperNovo, and there its found, I see first the code and then the gas pressure. So it seems more something with the Suunto Ocean not recognizing it than with the TankPod. Any ideas? @Deniz Did you have your problem fixed? Thanks

    Hey, I know this post is kind of old, and I might be a bit nosy replying here. However, I was hesitant to disable my security options for Core Isolation since it’s there for a reason, and it was causing the error Code 39. I found a solution that worked for me and created another thread with a step-by-step tutorial. The key is to update the USB Serial Converter driver without modifying the port driver. This also prevents the issue where SuuntoLink doesn’t detect the device at all —something Raimo Järvi mentioned—because SuuntoLink (as well as DM5) only communicates with the port driver, which works well with the updated Serial Converter.     @Alfred-Stoppels in your case you should use type B, base on your picture. However, adapters are not standard, except the thread. Thus these restrictors may not function well. In this case try this one: Restrictor for AI transmitter

You might want to use open-source FIT parsers (like FitSDK or fitdecode) and analyze sample SDE/XML structures to build robust import logic. Also, reaching out in freediving and Suunto forums with a quick upload form (Google Form or GitHub issue template) might increase contributions. The mistake I made (due to German Windows 11 installation) is that I did not understand where to explicit select the inf file and “connect” it to the “USB Serial Converter”. When selecting “Update Driver” do not select “Durchsuchen…”, but the link below “Aus einer Liste verfügbarer Treiber…” - sorry for writing the German “commands”, but I do not exactly know the English translation on Windows -> see my screen shots!     This is my classic chat support dialog, this one is from today, but essentially they are exactly the same. [image: 1699010579528-e4ac156b-c047-4058-924f-b4c197ed5593-image.png] And after that they told it is in the one of the finnish service, (it is listed on suunto service locator site) I called there - they told they haven’t received anything by mail. My guess they lost it somewhere.

    Adding recent news to my own question: Garmin recently released their X50i dive computer. A Garmin exec confirmed that they are leaving the watch-sized dive computer market and will only focus on full size dive computers going forward. Perhaps Apple Watch Ultra is a really hard to beat in the wrist-sized computer market. I wonder if Sunnto is working on an answer to the X50i.
