@tim3g totally agree. I really like the recently published software update for the Race. Stratum watch face looks awsome. But the always on display has such thin lines, it only looks good when there’s not too much light. Digits are barely visible in normal lightning conditions - looks almost like the display is off. The battery of my Race lasts for about six days. Would be fine for me, if if have to recharge it every four days, If I had an option to enable a brighter watch face. In darkness most of the AOD watch faces are too bright. Maybe there can be differnet types for different lightning conditions.

@IceRim I did but unfortunately same issue (yesterday and this night) For example this night it reports falling asleep : 3AM (turned off light at 11PM) wakeup : 7AM (accurate) nap detected : between 1h - 1h42 (AM) Will try to change some params to see (rest HR or sleep target) Yesterday (firmware 2.43.8) almost all was incorrect Start/end sleep time and even the sleep duration seemed incorrect [image: 1750321588780-screenshot-2025-06-19-at-10.25.27.png]

@RickB said in VO2 Max no longer working after Creating Customised Sport Mode: Suunto Support told me to go for a hard reset, which I did straight away. Since then no VO2 is calculated at all. Two runs were tagged as “VO2 MAX”…without telling me the value was. Activities tagged as “VO2 max” have a clear Z5 component. It has nothing to do with the VO2max value reported by the watch. And after a hard reset it may take time to get a new value if you don’t do activities with good time in various zones. I reasonably expected a customised run mode would still calculate my VO2. Yes, custom running modes show VO2max.

@isazi Hello isazi, I think my english is not good and I was not able to express my point correctly What I mean is that I saw that if you select teh swimming sport mode you have this beautiful clock screen like we can see in swimming pool Is there any similar specific screen for some specific other activities or it is the sole one that we could have found on SUUNTO watches ?

I did a couple of tests and was able to reproduce most of the issues. I think there are two bugs. When ZoneSense S+ is used together with UltraWalking S+, then ZoneSense doesn’t show the time spent in each zone (showing – instead). When ZoneSense S+ is used together with target HR zone, then the coloured circle around exercise data display and the arrow indicating the current HR get disconnected (colored circle gets stuck).

I’ve noticed sometimes the iOS version of the Suunto App can sometimes “pretend” to sync where it looks like it has sync’d and says it has sync’d but the sync didn’t actually happen. If you watch the sync it never does the suuntoplus sync or the gps update - two stages that tend to take a few seconds so are noticeable. I found the fastest fix for this is to force-quit the app (the swipe up to kill action) and restart the app. I think disabling and re-enabling bluetooth does the trick too. It could be that is is what you experienced and why the sync didn’t work.

@Mff73 i would agree that it is quite meaningless for mountainbiking, but not for road racing on flat terrain. to me it would make a lot of sense there.

I had the same problem with Race, but luckily not during activity, but randomly during the day. I returned them for repair and then sold them. I’ve had the Vertical for a few months and no problem so far.

I have some how the same similar results. What I have observe additional are the folowing: if in the period of 24, if you take a nap, then after some hours you take a full 7-8 hours of slepp, for that day, the sum of the slept hour’s are no longer summed. Basically the watch does show only the first nap, or unclear/incorect slepp hours. Some time, you can see them both, but the slepp, or consecutive nap’s are incorect couted as no. of hours.

@BrunoH Sometimes just reinstalling of the SA helps. But first try to clean the cache of SA.
