@Stefano-M64 I would get that too (used Suunto’s in the past with Ambit) but the biggest ‘feature’ I am missing is connect to 2 devices simultanuosly (Bike computer and Watch for example or even 2 watches).

@crash64 Hallo, war die Uhr über Nacht ausgeschaltet? Dann ist es ein bekannter Bug. Die Uhren dürfen nicht über Nacht aus sein, damit sich der Zäher für Kalorien und Schritte zurück setzt.

I would say to defend @Stefano-M64 its a good thing to wear, maybe not daily, but like he said, especially during mountain activities or something when its easy to hit watch . I got Vertical titanum with one small scratch after 0,5 year, and my PP9 Pro (steel version) edges lost black paint after few days only.

@surfboomerang I’ve always found the Race to be completely locked up & unable to navigate away from that screen in the ‘locked before the prompt’ scenario so can’t do anything further without a soft reset. Slight difference in my situation is that I don’t want my drive home to be recorded as part of the activity whereas in your windsurfing you do (& we’re currently unable to crop the activity on SA like you can in Strava).

@ab100 not possible afaik. However, during an activity you can workaround this by using the Suunto+ app “Emergency info” and add your own contact info.

@ab100 Suunto is aware of this current limitation, and if resources allow it this may change in the future. It is always a balance.

Again me after having lots of fun and runs with the Race that I absolute love. Some caveats though or feedback will be much appriciated since I might be missing somethig. I have the brightness in settings to Medium. This is quite good in and outdoors when on the watch face and on the menus. The minor problem I am facing is while in activity. I have the feeling that the Max brightness is somehow set to Low in the activity even though I use Performance mode. Keep in mind I have AOD off both in control and general settings so the screen is black when not looking at it. But when I raise to check the max brightness is somehow too low… barely visible when there is a bit more light (either sun or ‘white’ clouds). And while I am mostly training with the Vertical on sunny days I still would like to know if there is something I am missing here. For example the AWU2 and FR965 are much much brighter (both set to auto I think I never bothered cheking ) Thank you!

Sad. Unfortunately, this means bad “degradation” of the OLED. . Not true, the display only mode shifts pixels so that pixel burn in is at a minimum. Second, the display either turns oft or goes to minimum display, which shifts pixels when your wrist is down. @Brad_Olwin do I get it right, that pixel shifting is also applied on the exercise screens? Yes in watch mode but in exercise mode AOD is limited to prevent burn in. I do not use AOD as I do not need it and I do not bike ride much. Without AOD the display goes off during exercise and in watch mode.

@Tony-Monteiro Oh yes, sometimes it happens. It’s a bit of a nuisance but hey, it has an easy solution. You have to load tracks to the watch until you reach the allowable limit of the watch. In my 9PP I don’t remember well but I think there are 15 (or 10, I don’t remember well, the fact is that there aren’t many). Those who have remained “ghosts” on the watch are displaced by these new ones and disappear. Then it’s time to disable again those that you have loaded to carry out this process. I hope I have explained myself well.

@svmanolov said in GPS accuracy Suunto race !: @Brad_Olwin link text Do you have an AGPS file in about? Is it current? If you sync immediately prior to exercise and a new AGPS file is loaded, it can take time to unpack. How many times has the route been bad?
