So far i have done 17 dives ( 2 tanks) with Nautic since ive charged to 100% once… Estimate time 15 or 16 hours underwater and now the battery has reach 50% Great battery, enough for 7 days liveaboard without need to recharge Ps: without transmitter

@Sharkhugger I receive the same warnings simply by lifting my left arm to activate the deflator valve of my drysuit. It is often seen as a Ascent speed violation.

@ccrhenrik This is usual behavior for nearly all smartwatches I know (not only Suunto) that they can pair to only one app connection. You need i.e. to disable bluetooth on the other device (or to unpair it in BT, but then you need to pair again) , then it switches to the app on the second device. This is how I have solved it.

Would be interesting if the Nautic S is a valid competitor too. As fa as I know it misses the Big Display, Dual View (Basic Data plus e.g. Compass) and the battery lifetime which are the big pluses of the nautic. For 5 tankpods/gases and Helium I am not sure So not in the same ballpark, right?

I have been testing with 3 different LED flashlight on / near / close / up and down to the POD and the Nautic and the computer held its connection state as expected. So I do not expect that the RFI is causing the signal to become in-stable. Maybe a combination with POD pressure buildup in combination with RFI? I hope the Suunto dev teams can find the issue reading my POD and Nautic logs.

@Niels-Søren-Bøgh Thanks. That is what I thought.but I was hoping that there was an option to configure the TTS/NDL screen so that TTS was traded-in for the Tank Pressure. In our waters here in NL the Tides / Currents / Shipping routes require me to have the compass screen as my primary screen in front of me at all time. This screen does not provide me Tank Pressure so switching to the main screen is required. I hope Suunto will make a 1 field Compass view somewhere in the future.

@Hugues78fr you can paste pictures on a laptop. On a phone or tablet it doesn’t work on this forum.

@Divingpassion Any news or comments regarding a tech diving computer that cannot give you the possibility to define tank size? Not good for deco calculation or out of gas simulation

@soryp When you do plan like this or dive a dive with air on 50m. Do you consider the findings of risks with gas density, EADD? I would really like that Suunto integrated the possibilities and risks with gas density in computers and planning software. Usually people plan EAD for a maximum of 35m but no-one reflects about the gas density of the breathing gas.

Ldive A lot of us have had problems with the app and bluetooth sync, Somehow it looks related to language settings on the Nautic and phone, i’m putting all in english and had problems with my phone when in Dutch. After setting all on english, sync works flawless. So make sure they match. Start sync and the app should give you a green checkmark almost instantly when the Nautic is near and switched on.

@Ldive The only way is to enter that manualy afterwarts. The manual says that you can enter a poi by tapping on the offline charts in the Suunto app but that doesn’t work in my app. Just bought the Nautic two days ago so maybe i’m doing something wrong but i don’t know what. Anyone here’s got an idea?

Having worked on this kind of subject (inertia, heading, pressure, etc.) in the aeronautical field, I understand that the calculations are made based on the information described in another thread. Nevertheless, to be able to appreciate the quality of the restitution, it would be necessary to have other known and fixed elements such as remarkable landmarks (spots with known GPS coordinates for example). In my case, I have entered certain points in my Nautic and it would be good for them to appear on the 2D and 3D map so that we can quantify the errors and give proper feedback to the developers, rather than the simple question from the application, which asks if the restitution of the trip seems correct … If you need a hand with the GNSS recalculations and the Kalmann filter, I can help if needed.
