    Thanks for the replies. I did two things - and I am not sure what solved it - I deleted the cache of my Suunto app (in case there were issues from my previous dive-computer), but I also tried to download the maps while the computer was connected to the charger - so not sure what was the solution… At least it works… which I guess is the important thing…

    Mapping is available on the Garmin x50i. Not looking for GPS underwater, just having the topographic map to look at would be extremely helpful when shore diving. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/985238/
