Thank you for the feedback Pavel “At first glance it looks like doing something like this for Suunto should be relatively simple” Quite cool! Interesting pointers given by NO-DECO and Nandodiver, thanks, I will give a try to both Subsurface and Divelogs

Regarding the breakdown schema, in the case of a decompression dive, the cumulative time for ascent segment does not seem to take into account the 10 meters per minute ascent rate, as mentioned in the footer of the screen. Currently, the cumulative time displayed at the first ascent stop is identical to the bottom time, which is counter-intuitive. For example, in the Nautic manual, a sample dive of 19 minutes at 40 meters is presented. The ascent from 36 m to 9 m should not display a cumulative time of 22’36. Since a 27-meter ascent at 10 m/min takes 2’42, the displayed cumulative time should be 25’18 instead. Therefore, the next stop should display a 28’18 cumulative time rather than 29’36, and so on. Don’t you think? [image: 1769277537818-decompression-dive2_2.jpg]

@Niels-Søren-Bøgh That’s super great news. I was just wondering if it was doable. I have the Suunto Nautic and I’m in the market for a backup computer. I was looking at competitors, but having that option makes me lean toward a Suunto product for sure. Can Suunto confirm that this is indeed a supported configuration? That would be awesome!

Indeed tank pressure and compass should be visible in 1 screen. It should be a simple fix. With a small compass widget, with just the heading in degrees, I would be happy. Setup a screen with tank pressure and heading. And never have to change screen on most of my dives.

These are the situations where need to remember the baring degrees, setting the baring sits in another switch window. It would indeed be perfect to indicate GPS locations via POI’s in the water on the map. This will help us getting on track to wrecks, reefs etc…sits in another Switch window. @el.Fakir dive topography with an overlay on the Maps application so you’re able to set your baring on the compass before the dive. I’m Sold…

@NO-DECO Correct and I do understand, but it is documented as a feature so logically you can assume its there when you purchase the device.

@VoiGAS I am not sure but I have the impression that the STEEL is on it’s way out. If it is that would be a shame.

It is also missing on my nautic. No way to connect a heart rate monitor. You can connect a pod, via the gasses menu.

Yup, that’s a great suggestion! To be colorblind proof and limit visual noise on the compass, probably better to place the 1, 2, 3 waypoint numbers within the yellow dots, and use a start/end icon instead of a S/E letter close to the blue and green dots (and reserve them for South and East). A bit like what is proposed with the dive planner icons (see user guide §10.2 p. 60, for instance the surface icon to represent the end).

@hhouter YES… the this is a must have option. Alot of divers are on the Suuntos and they are safe and convervative… AND the EONs will be the backup computer for a lot of Suunto fans! So, ofcause they should be able to run the same tabels! And disable option for Deep Stops. Make Suuntos - not just copies of others…

@Aquario There is basically 3 types of Tides information: Simple standard calculated table - here you typical have a whole year in advance A Weather corrected Tides-forecast where 1) is corrected from weather forecast about wind etc. Here you typicality have 1-3 days in advance. Nautic could have both: 1) as Widget… 2) as a part of the weather forecast.

Thanks for the replies. I did two things - and I am not sure what solved it - I deleted the cache of my Suunto app (in case there were issues from my previous dive-computer), but I also tried to download the maps while the computer was connected to the charger - so not sure what was the solution… At least it works… which I guess is the important thing…
