@JeffBB I noticed that while updating and or transferring offline maps it needs to be connected to the charger… Edit: Oh didnt see you sent it away and it got resolved.

@Niels-Søren-Bøgh Great idea, you take a picture of for example the divemap at the location or resort, and have that switchable on the screen.

New branch of software is a bad idea. Same problem as with firmware - less frequent updates due to complexity. I see no issues using Ocean both for diving and other activities and all logged in a single app. Besides, lots of features like maps, notifications are universal to activities so having two separate apps would be worse than frequently updated one.

    # Suunto Request: It would be great if can you make a Switch Window “Compass View” double field. In this case we can assign it to the main screen and have the pressure + compass in a single view. The view would be perfect to hold position and check regurarly during the dive. The limited view should hold the position N/S/W/E markers and bearing indication as in the picture below. @2b2bff said in Adjustments to FR labels: But the things I mentioned months ago are still not worked in into the iOS App… That would be disappointing. An active and engaged community is a real asset and a win-win opportunity. Nautic is quite well designed from a hardware point of view. Most of the issues discussed here are minor software and UI refinements: low cost, but high impact on product quality and user experience.

@GiPFELKiND we need to push the need of the TIDE widget for all watches. That’s why I reply. Hope suunto will soon include it in the next software update.

@Divingpassion I am indeed disappointed if the answer from Suunto is that. I can understand that new dive computers do take a bit of time to get up to speed to the real needs of some divers. Maybe if other divers ask for a 13 litre tank, they might change there minds ?

Teleportation bug: User @el.fakir caught a good bug in the dive plan: Suunto Nautic does not consider ascent rate in its calculations. Following screenshot red highlights that Nautic assumes instant teleport from 36m to 9m. @Niels-Søren-Bøgh That’s super great news. I was just wondering if it was doable. I have the Suunto Nautic and I’m in the market for a backup computer. I was looking at competitors, but having that option makes me lean toward a Suunto product for sure. Can Suunto confirm that this is indeed a supported configuration? That would be awesome!

These are the situations where need to remember the baring degrees, setting the baring sits in another switch window. It would indeed be perfect to indicate GPS locations via POI’s in the water on the map. This will help us getting on track to wrecks, reefs etc…sits in another Switch window. @NO-DECO Correct and I do understand, but it is documented as a feature so logically you can assume its there when you purchase the device.

@VoiGAS I am not sure but I have the impression that the STEEL is on it’s way out. If it is that would be a shame.

It is also missing on my nautic. No way to connect a heart rate monitor. You can connect a pod, via the gasses menu.

@Niels-Søren-Bøgh Longpress the top left button until flashlight switches on. Then the device will startup again.
