@DMytro Thanks & Yes. S9PP. It’s now 95 supported sports. Before I think there were 80? Will surfing be there? Somwhere in this thread someone mentioned surfing. But I cannot find it anymore.

Surfing is on 9B so should be on 9PP too.

surfing has been in Suuntos already before. Wind, kite and wave surfing. I don’t expect that popular sports will be removed -

Plus: There is a new Surfer S+ feature under test, that gathers additional data, like last wave stats (duration, length, max speed) plus stats like # of waves surfed, distance surfed and paddled, longest wave etc…)t6, S6, Elementum Terra, Ambit 3 Sapphire, Spartan Ultra Copper, Traverse Alpha, S7 Graphite LE, S9B Ambassador, S9P Titanium, S9PP Titanium, Vertical All Black, Race Titanium Charcoal, Race S Titanium Courtney, Run Lime, Race 2, Vertical 2 Titanium

@Patrick-Löffler it was 80+, I wonder which others sports were added. Yet I don’t do a lot of different sports, so s9 offering satisfies me quite a bit.

@DMytro detecting paddling versus riding shouldn’t be that difficult, the arm movement is very different.

and maybe speed.
with paddling against the waves I almost never get beyond 3.5km/h, drifting with the current while waiting is even slower, but once you catch a wave it relatively quickly accelerates you to however fast they are coming in… -

Does Suunto S9 Peak Pro have the same straps as S9 Peak, can be exchanged between watches?

@dulko79 yes they can, 22MM straps fit S5P, S9P and S9PP

@dulko79 I have used a nylon strap for about 3 years, same one, and still excellent.
It gets ‘stiff’ with sweat and needs a good wash every now and again, but I like it. I do not use the HR, so no idea if it good for the connection.
I don’t run. used for cycling. It is soaked in sweat several times a week.

@freeheeler I’m still waiting until I know for certain that this watch doesn’t suffer from those weird speed wobbles/spikes on windsurfing activities. But since it still has a Sony GNSS chip, there is a chance I will end up with the same results.
