@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

I have Spartan Trainer for over one year now, The battery measurement it’s a little bit strange. Is it is cold in winter there maybe drop of battery twenty percent. If you come from your work out on the shower the battery goes up twenty percent. That’s only what the display shows the real battery capacity is normal for this price tag I think the real battery capacity with GPS one is around 60 kilometers Maximum. Never tried the energy saving mode because I like precision in my data

I can confirm that Suunto 9 is fantastic in OWS. Last week I swam at least twice a day at sea and s9 never missed a shot, pretty impressive. I swam even wearing SSU, which is also good, but Suunto 9 has something extra. I have many tracks to show you if you want. I would not try to wear it with particular methods, if not the most logical one, that is, on the wrist. Select OWS, wait 3 minutes by hand (but honestly, it is not even necessary as I could test) and start the watch before immersing it in water. The only trick you need to have is to take care to carry long strokes, before dipping your hand in water for the next stroke, so as to keep the watch out of the water for about 2 seconds and give the watch a chance to “talk” with satellites.

Just don’t press the lower button to shortly or you’ll get a manual lap added to your workout. Press it so you get the lock prompt and then release.

All I know is that Suunto App can’t do any of the things I am still using Movescount for. The only one feature that is somewhat valuable to me is route editor, but I can’t imagine planning day long trail runs on a tiny phone screen having to zoom in and out all the time, and it doesn’t support waypoints. Everything else that I care about in Movescount is not even remotely there in SA. What it gives to me is a very poor copy of Strava features that I don’t need because I already have Strava, plus some silly ranking of my activities against other activities, but I can’t imagine anyone caring about those except may be some people who just started running a month or two ago.

@cosmecosta said in Issues adding activity manually: @Prenj said in Issues adding activity manually: Hi. This was available in movescount. You could have imported gpx as a route, and add a move manually then add this earlier imported route to it. yes and no…I mean you have 3 steps and I think the OP asks for import directly a fit o gpx file directly. True. Let’s hope this comes soon anyway. It shouldn’t be too difficult to implement.

@skdenes Yup. Makes a kind of sense, if I understand it correctly. The app requests a URL from the server generating & holding the GPX. No server link = no URL to share = no (point in displaying a) Share button?

@freeheeler Good to know, and something I’m watching now, regarding syncing over events, I just did app updates on my phone, restarted the phone, and now my Suunto App is syncing directly with my Traverse, which is was not doing about 2 hours ago.

Ah, ok, sorry. I have never seen these before, and I did not even know that they exist (and it would annoy me, too). Might help, that the GPS of my Smartphone is always switched off, if I do not navigate (which does not happen often, and if so GPSis activated manually of course).

@JohnV HRV is interpreted as body resources. In my case I notice if my resources is going yellow again whilst resting it’s a sign of good recovery and HRV going up.
