@Adrian.S by native, I mean that Zone Sense should become a normal selection field rather than a separate application. In this case, in order for it to be displayed in the same way as heart rate, power or pace zones

@MacSpikes Unfortunately to be able to compete with the golf watches that are out there you need far more than just a map of a golf course. Effectively the topo maps are pretty worthless for golf by themselves. Ideally the course needs to be remapped and at the very least you need distance to front/middle/back of green, distance to pin - and ideally should be able to do this for all hazards on the course - so a view of the hole would also be good. Then ideally should be able to track the distance of your shot, record how many shots and putts taken and then have a scorecard of some sort. Ideally you should also have a tournament mode so that certain features can be disabled so can still use while playing a tournament. Then you can come onto the serious features i.e. tracking the lay of each shot, swing details, green contours, the ability to include play like distances (so taking grade of course, wind, weather, pressure into account) and get suggestions for your club. Seriously this would take a massive amount of investment and would be competing in areas against a host of watches that are extremely embedded. Garmin offers a range of golf watches main focus is golf with a bit of side tracking of other sports - they also now all track health etc. Then you have watches like the Garmin Venu 2 which offers equivalent to garmin’s basic golf tracking / Instinct 2 - between basic & mid-range / FR965 & FR955 about equivalent to garmin’s mid-range S42 series / Then you have the Fenix/Epix which offered pretty much everything their then top range S62 offered - but since superceded by S70 just released. But still offer most of this - just packed slightly differently and improved (no idea yet if these changes will roll out to Epix/Fenix). S70 review (give you an idea of how it works on the watch) - https://youtu.be/DEcG0dakEz0 Garmin golf science (what they offer): https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/garmin-technology/golf-science/ And of course there is the golf app that goes with that (see right side bar links to the above link). Suunto would have to invest a huge amount of development into being able to provide something like this - and then have to build out their name not only alongside Garmin but others that are as well recognized i.e. shotscope / skycaddie / bushnell/ Voicecaddie / golf buddie / tec tec tec / And then of course wear os / apple have apps like Hole 19 etc that you can use - and of course can always use phone (and apps like hole 19) and range finders…

@surfboomerang in my experience, of course still recording. 1 morning i woke up and go to toilet. my watch show me morning report. then go back to my bed and browsing phone a while and then take short sleep again. i woke up and my watch and app show my sleep duration was added few more hours. awake duration is quite accurate. SV know when i wake up go to toilet haha. the time i go to toilet is still under my sleeping time that i set in my watch. when my heart rate dropped below rest heart rate it will assume that i go back to sleep again. so i guess this is the reason why SV extend our sleeping duration.

@zhang965 said in Several questions (and bugs?): The notification can be configured in Suunto app per application, so it could be off for Whatsapp Not possible to do it per application on iOS, only on Android. On iOS you can either turn them on or off (which I don’t understand).

@stromdiddily I just checked the guides on the app, and for HumanGo now I have three workouts: today, 21/09, and 03/10. Between 21/09 and 03/10 there are other workouts that are not synced. Not sure about the logic, nor if the workouts are pulled by Suunto or pushed by HumanGo (the latter I would guess). The good thing is that everything worked so far, every day the correct workout is there for me. Anyway, if people with wrong dates could send screenshots of both the source app and Suunto app, and logs (and everything in a PM to me), I will open a bug with Suunto, and app developers can check.

@Dirk483 said in Map check?: I can not think of a testroutine how to check whether the map of a different region will show while still at home. Any suggestions? maybe like a “fake GPS” debug mode, to be able to “explore” other area on watch

@babychai said in Vertical compass settings: @bikedocben In the activity setting, select Theme then select Dark or Light mode. Dark is black background and Light is white background. This changes will reflect in the widget compass as well. Genius! Well I had to find the sport mode where I last used the compass in light mode and change that to dark and that fixed it. Changing other sport mode themes didn’t change the compass setting. Weird but all good now

@TurtleCub You probably tried this as well, but the watch needs to sit tight on the charger in order to establish a new wifi connection. I had forgotten this and it took me a while to get it sorted…
