With my Suunto Race it does the same thing. If I hit a button to see the time at night, I get the sleep summary - game over. With my Vertical it was more hit or miss as described here. Kind of annoying.

@throwaway12345 I would contact support in the app by chat. Sounds like a faulty watch. They will likely replace it.

@Danny-poleg I always have the same behavior when I don’t move. it’s pretty normal because altitude is first of all barometric measured + gps corrected.

Working for me too (on Vertical, Rave, and S9PP). We had few big storms recently in NL and the alarm rang.

It’s happened to me as well. I also have the feeling that the battery in these times drains faster.

I don’t get it either. You need to set up the wifi to access in the app anyway. The function to enter the password is there. Built in. No need for a workaround.

@johansson you are most welcome and I have no doubt you will enjoy your Vertical Solar! I applaud you for doing “your homework” before purchasing as well. Just something I will add as I found out while doing sandbag training (cleans and overhead presses) the little button that holds the end of the strap would come undone or dig into my wrist. I ended up changing out my strap to an “Apple watch ocean” style which worked out better for me. This one in particular: https://a.co/d/5SYeamt

@Fenr1r Hello I think we are perfectly aligned see my post here https://forum.suunto.com/topic/11310/valuate-the-x-on-the-map-and-offer-the-possibility-to-save-it-as-a-poi-or-to-go-to-it-in-bearing-mode/2?_=1722932936286 Suunto offer us the possibility from the Map to point a X with its distance and its direction so very few effort now to offer us the possibility to have a bearing direction to this point If you are aligned please vote for my post may be suunto will considere this

@Gilles-D In testing prior to releasing the Stryd a number of us tested Suunto power vs Stryd. They were very close. That was with the Wind version and I do not know if newer versions are different. Suunto power is a little less sensitive for me as I notice that the max on very hard intervals is a bit lower with Suunto but averages were very close.

@Tieutieu said in Night battery consumption (5%): @Luis-Andés-Olmedo Just to let you know : with sleep tracking ON (so h24 HR Tracking on), and DND from 23:00 to 7:00, consumption is very low too. (Don’t forget also that if your watch is new, it needs few cycles to properly calibrate battery) Thanks!! I do not like to wear any watch while sleeping

Indeed, I just noticed this too. But, I think there is an inconsistency in the configuration because you can activate sleep tracking and then deactivate heart rate measurement. Sleep tracking still seems to be enabled but is no longer functional.

So I guess the triangle is your heart rate percentage within those 5 zones? Is there any documentation anywhere that defines these zones and how the triangle moves within them? please read the manual: https://www.suunto.com/Support/Product-support/suunto_vertical/suunto_vertical/recording-an-exercise/intensity-zones/ Ah ha! Perfect - thanks!

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos do you know why a scheduled workout loads a custom power profile? I haven’t created one, or selected it, so it seems like a bug. Addendum: I forgot, I’m using a custom sport mode! If I choose the custom sport mode, it loads a custom power profile. If I choose the standard sport profile, it loads the default power profile… Updated problem statement: when using a custom sport mode, it sets the default power profile to custom, which prevents auto-pause from working. This happens even when no custom profiles have been created by the user, with no option to set the default power mode for a custom sport mode. Bim now I’m going for my run.
