@GiPFELKiND Thanks for the instructions. It helped me get the heart rate measurement working again on the 9PP. And I don’t miss any of the latest updates

@TomTiger I had this problem as well. Have reported as a bug. I was able to fix this with a factory reset. A PIA but working normally now.

@Grundy82 glad to hear it! Just a quirk of the tagging I suppose that if one data point isn’t setup it defaults to the “hardest” interpretation of any data.

@trailcafe said in All Trails: I can’t stop recommending plotaroute.com because it syncs directly with Suunto and has directions. I started using this fairly recently and I can also vouch for it. Total ascent seems to be more accurate than what it estimates in SA plus the plotting is more logical and intuitive

@MKPotts said in TSS Suunto App vs Trainingpeaks: @stromdiddily How do you change the default TSS calculation in TP? I can’t find a way to do this in the app (iOS), do you have to do it on the website? At the minute I have to manually change every run recorded with the Peak Pro from pTSS to rTSS. On the web if you update the TSS used for an activity you should get a prompt asking you to set the default…like so [image: 1692028660821-092cf54d-1995-4401-857d-6789695114ab-image.png]

@stromdiddily yes and we are talking about the later since on-watch intervals being too basic have been on the watch for a while but as with many things, pretty half-baked.

I’m going to find a nylon strap because the Suunto straps that I have with my Vertical and the Race all irritate by skin where the buckle makes contact with the skin.

I’ll be able to provide updates if I hear something from Suunto, for now it has just being acknowledged as a reported bug.

@GiPFELKiND the resources jumps (up and down) are discussed here quite often and they’re not really reliable when you look at them in short time intervalls, like a single day. In the long run, they pretty much fit my personal feeling. But afaik no one at Suunto can look deeper in how the resources work, since they are Firstbeat „stuff“. I found that I can raise them significantly (about +20% ) while meditating for 30 to 60 minutes and there my HR drops to sleeplike values, so my guess is, that sudden changes in HR will influence such highs in resources .

Maybe I just have not yet figured out how to do it but I would be happy to have separate settings for backlight during activity and otherwise. Maybe even by activity type. I’m also a bit confused when the backlight turns on by tapping and when not. Im also confused about what the standby mode actually means

Indeed, having the avalanche map available on the watch wouldn’t make it the only tool to use. We already have to juggle with multiple apps (mobile or desktop) with different capabilities (online only or offline capable, 2D or 3D), for different uses (planing a trip, sharing plans, tracking) and map layers (by country, slope angle, recent avalanches, avalanche terrain, terrain hazard, dynamically taking latest avalanche report and risk reduction method into account…).

@SuperFlo75 Same. Has been pretty accurate for me with running and trail running activities - gym not quite as good - but that obviously has more arm movements involved.
