I like the idea how the HR zones are implemented but sometimes the black background is not any good when you are running fast. @Greengarden I think the Race is a new enough model for Suunto to release its replacement. The Race S in titanium is a good bet. I could even think of some sort of new Vertical S. But a Race 2.0 would be very surprising to me.

Do you all realise that when you don’t wear your watch continuously that the HR monitor will just switch off ? The only way to turn this back on is to switch off and on the watch or to disable power saving and turn it on again ?

@ben_cb Sorry to ask, but I have never got that detailed results with my Verical paired to a Android device. How can you get all that?

@Mff73 classical bug with custom modes, they usually wipe out of the watch after any update if you don’t have any default mode in quick access and then you get this shortcut button bug

@herlas Thats a clear message - thank you! Others were more like its a thing of the past (old firmware) or the AOD would be bright enough. Thats why I thought I am doing something wrong and kept trying. So for me its now clear.

@Egika thanks for the reply yes that one would be perfect if there were digits instead of clock hands Forgot to mention in the first post - time must be presented as digits. I can’t get used to clock hands …

@Mff73 To me this seems so inconsistent since for example TSS on the watch takes the imported training session into account and shows training effort on the training day. Also CTL, ATL and Form take the session into account. But since this seems to be a known “feature”, I guess it’s easiest to change the watch face parameter so that it doesn’t bother me

@Olaf-Gottschalk My main activity is biking (trail / enduro) and I use OHR. It stops receiving HR literally every single ride. I’ve noticed that it stops when I make a short pause during a ride. It may be a traffic light or sip of water. Then OHR shows impossible low level for HR instead of real one. My solution is to remove watch from my wrist, clean the sensor and put it back on. It works for me (mostly). It takes some time - so maybe this is also a factor. But it is very annoying to have that kind of problem. I am forced to observe the watch to catch the moment when problem occurs. SUUNTO - please verify this case. And fix it please.

After starting the activity, you have to scroll to the interval screen and begin your interval session there.

@Egika Good point, well presented I’ve just had a play with it & you’re right, there is now a ‘breadcrumb’ option in the map menu that didn’t used to be there so must have been added in the latest software (unless I just completely missed it previously). Either way it’s a fantastic tool to have & thanks for the feedback

@JEMO00 I also have the same issue. I want to have vibration for autolap but notification and scrolling.

@surfboomerang that carousel mode was last seen on Suunto 9 Peak AFAIK, it didn’t make it to S9PP and newer models, that carousel was just for data fields and not entire data screens.

@leonidas I feel you as I’m currently have both Garmin and Suunto… But so is the way with software: it never is bug free. There are ways to avoid bugs or the reappearance of them, like test driven development. But unless you have a simple app, you cannot test all combinations of installations and settings or use cases someone might have. And TBF the accent color of a hand is not a major bug…
