@HoBart don’t think so. There are quite some watch faces in the pipeline for Race/Vertical, but not these so far…

@ROBMONTGOMERY how do you know? Do you already have the watch? If yes, you can update your firmware and this will be changed.

Notifications updated, but still not possible to see the sender name in (at least) whatsapp notifications. Pretty annoying in group chats.

@Hari-Seldon said in Rolling out 3.19.18: I’ve never understood if the forum is read in any way by support or anyone else. I just hope that some mod or field tester forwards it to the developers; in my opinion it is better if you also send feedback via app, so that there is a better chance that reports are not lost in the void. Probably not, this is a playing field for users, not a support forum. As for support, I have to say, my experience was rather poor. Yesterday, I finally found the point in the app. However, it redirected me to the website. I was already there, but the chat button isn’t visible on the desktop. So you have to use your smartphone, which makes writing difficult. Then I couldn’t send a picture—the link was dead. Eventually, I did get help with my defective Smart Sensor, but one follow-up question was lost because the chat timed out. I wanted to report the problem with sleep tracking, but it’s pointless there. To put it briefly, the support chat is not a channel for describing a problem or situation in detail, but I just saw that the support contacted me via email afterwards

@6iovanni there are tons of little things improved with each update that are not listed. Usually happening under the hood.

I’m on 3.19.18 3.19.20 and I calibrate it at the end of the session. It’s the 5th nth time I calibrate it and it keeps counting 1 km more every 4 or so… Same treadmill, same speed, same incline for every session.

To make it complete. Here are a few more examples of strange behavior: Display always on is anything else than display ALWAYS on. Lap announcements often ends “…average heart rate one hundred and” cut! After every restart mediaplayer switch from offfline to bluetooth switch from shuffle to playlist switch from individual volume to standard volume Pause/resume reminder, too sensitive, more annoying than useful Very annoying and disappointing.

For me, the sleep data recording isn’t working reliably either. For whatever reason, my bedtime is set and I wear the watch normally. I wish there was a way to at least manually correct this, because the entire recovery calculation isn’t accurate. I hope for a function in the app to add the missing sleep manually: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/13267/add-sleep-manually

Hi, I waited a while before reporting this, but I think sleep needs to be tweaked a bit more because afaic it doesn’t recognize well when I’m awake and when I’m asleep. For example, last night I helped a friend who had surgery, and it wasn’t an easy night. I stayed awake to assist him from ~11:30 p.m. to ~4:00 a.m., and the watch didn’t recognize the awake interval at all (which happens often). Head and tail were ok though. [image: 1757232245314-signal-2025-09-07-095425.png] My std sleep interval is set to 9.30pm to 6.15am

@6iovanni A watch primarily for running and I doubt this will happen. I imagine the included profiles were a deliberated decision.

@thanasis no full idea of Suunto’s plans, but Run is definitely this: A stripped down version of their adventure watches. Smaller price - less features. At the same time some nice gimmicks made it into this new development.

@Egika That’s why I surmised in my initial post that DCR must’ve had a foundation with it via his experience with Garmin. Unfortunately, Suunto didn’t detail how this feature works, and I couldn’t find a calibration explaination in the user manual (perhaps I missed it?). I haven’t used a Garmin regualrly in about four years, and even when I was with that brand, I never ran on a track. So as I test it further, I want to be sure to explain any functionalities that don’t seem intuitive to the end users.

I am also having same issue with my earbuds. Earbuds works with the phone perfectly but with Suunto Run it disconnects. Sometimes I can manage whole 10k run without any disconnects but sometimes earbuds disconnects like every 5 minutes. Not tried to pair any other headphones yet.

@Yves-Jenni This morning again: I selected walking mode, but as soon as I start the activity, the display goes dark and there’s no way to turn it back on. Right now, I’m still, I’ve finished my walk, but the watch is practically dead. As with previous times, the activity in question was carried out on the beach, so I don’t know if the issue could be related to some sort of display protection. For completeness, I should point out that the display brightness is set to “high.”

@Hari-Seldon Okay, interesting. But @Tomi, you still have the problem? Again today, during two short training sessions. This time with the Suunto SmartSensor: [image: 1757606800686-running_2025-09-11t11_50_09.fit.jpg] Running_2025-09-11T11_50_09.fit and immediately afterward, another activity [image: 1757606879319-trailrunning_2025-09-11t12_28_51.fit.jpg] TrailRunning_2025-09-11T12_28_51.fit Something is definitely out of sync here. I’ll try the Polar Verity Sense next time, but I think it happens with any sensor. It’s happening more frequently now. Before last update, I had the discrepancies in maybe one out of every four training sessions; now, it’s happening in about two out of three. Another small note: I’ve also noticed that newly synced activities displayed incorrect or incomplete data in the app, but the problem was later resolved. Possibly a problem with the sync status. One more note: The error is also visible in Runalyze, which suggests that the fit file is corrupted. [image: 1757607612425-screen-2025-09-11-18-17-06.jpg]

@Kriss said in Suunto Run restarts during activity: Also wonder how many days of battery life people are getting? I run every day for an hour with the chest strap, HR 24/7 with the sleep/HRV functions activated, no aod, no notifications, always performace mode when training, which means ~10% per day. The latest update seems pretty good in terms of battery life.
