@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

Hello, First of all, sorry if this has already been mentioned… I used the search tool and tried to look but… I wanted to talk about a “strange display” on Suunto Coach about HRV (we’re talking about HRV, but more importantly about Suunto Coach’s interpretation of it). I’m 10 days away from an Ultra Trail, in the period of high volume reduction. My HRV has necessarily increased a lot, to the point of flirting with the high limits and even exceeding them. No problem with that, especially as I received my Race during a training block, so the HRV is probably underestimated. The problem is the “you’re sleeping well but your HRV is abnormal” display, and other similar variants. I think that the algorithm should perhaps present it differently, unless my knowledge of HRV is truncated, I imagine that these high scores in the pre-race period could be presented differently. But that’s just a trifle, I think the HRV tracking is pretty brilliant, it works very well for me, in every way consistent with my sensations!

@larrybbaker said in Polar H10 and Suunto Android App: @Mauerwegler there are BT scanners/monitoring apps out there that will report battery status. I use: LightBlue on iOS. Yes, I found out about that in another thread shortly after my post last year. But thanks!

@Robin123 For this case i use offline map app on my phone. I can recommend Osmand (OpenStreetmapAndroid). All kind of map management is possible there and also offline navigation + GPX export. Here i do all the things for what the display of a watch is to small in generally.

@karel-louda said in Current state of the App?: @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Garmin Connect not, but Garmin Explore has a full support to create/edit routes and waypoints and that all is possible in OFFLINE mode (without data connection - maps are downloadable). I have a Garmin inReach Mini satellite communicator that uses the Garmin Earthmate app, and Garmin Explore is a clone of that. I am not sure that you can plan routes and sync completely offline. I cannot with Earthmate and both use the same web platform. I can only import GPX via the web, it is a PITA. The route planning on Explore is not very good and there are no heat maps. SA is miles ahead on iOS as it allows cloud import and sharing of GPX tracks. You cannot import into Explore and the maps that Garmin uses for these apps are not that great. GAIA is way better and that is what I typically use for route planning.

@TELE-HO You`re right. We collect here customer input for developement of the App, and as far as I can tell there will be reports made from here to Suunto about bugs users find, what users complain, what they have feature suggestions and so on. But it can’t be bad to write to support as well, in my opinion. We all have to wait when the next update from Suunto comes about all this.

After the latest update 1.12.1(7602) the Nautical Miles has gone back to Kilometres, the frustrating part is the speed is still measured in Knots (good) but having the two metrics like this makes each one useless. Also On the Ambit 3 I could add the compass screen to any sport mode, this was great for sailing as a quick reference when sorting the rigging out on deck, not having the option as a standard screen on the spartan, suunto9 range has been a big miss. compared to the ambit3 peak my suunto9 baro has been disappointing, so many features lost and zero communications from suunto where the software development path is heading, and how they intend on catering for the different communities that use their products, lots of “no thats not in our plan” and zero “heres whats coming or planned”
