@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos this perfectly makes sense, especially if you have trails which have different start/end points. (Badwater, WS100,…). If you like to adapt your training to fit to such a gain/loss in elevation for a race, this would be helpful.

@MaxiPalle So … are you trying to merge multiple single activities into one “multisport” in TP ? I don’t think it’s possible, but better ask TP support.

@silentvoyager said in Suunto 9 baro and climbed meters + suunto app: @ollemelin said in Suunto 9 baro and climbed meters + suunto app: I know, but my question was really why the suunto app (and strava) does not autocorrect when they make use of the terrain model? Map auto-correction may be very inaccurate because it depends on accurate coordinates, which is often challenging on mountainous terrain. Consider the following example. You traverse across a steep mountain slope on a narrow trail. Half of sky is obstructed by the mountain, so the number of GPS satellites is limited and positional accuracy isn’t great. As a result of that the GPS track can wobble 10-15 meters either way across the slope. Now, those inaccurate coordinates are fed into the elevation model, and each movement to either side may translate into a large elevation jump or drop that wasn’t actually there. That may add to a lot of extra elevation gain. The model is also very inaccurate when crossing bridges or going through tonnels. Every time you cross a bridge the elevation model will have you going to the bottom and then go up again to your previous level. Yes, thats correct. But on longer climbs in the mountains its not a problem. The device is spot on. My issue is with flow-tracks with small hills. I actually take a lot of meters on that kind of trails. As I live in sweden the data for terrainmodels are also very good.

@TELE-HO if I’m doing intervals I have no real reason to see every mile marked as an auto lap (and hey, sometimes I forget lol)…would be nice to turn it off instead of having to sift through the laps when I go back to do analysis.

@kuba-sarata said in How to edit a move in suunto app?: @brad_olwin thanks for sharing this option. This would be a good idea for syncing new moves, that’s right. I’m not sure though how the historical data imported from MC behaved and it’s impossible now to find all of the errors. Maybe you know were the moves imported from the data entered to MC or somehow from the raw files imported from the watch? At the same time - just clicking ‘edit’ and entering a correct value is still much much easier Not for a lot of moves, it really would not matter. The import was tested and unlikely to result in errors. There is information that does not transfer. I understand why you may want adjustment of values but this is how the app is currently set.

@Mff73 said in Download All Activity Data: @marsfarce @Efejota i am currently in the process with Suunto Support to get all my data, according to EU gdpr rules. it is almost 2 or 3 weeks since the process (request by chat) began, i still don’t have my data (but i have an email that the export bagan ). i will see what i will get, because in the last mail i received i was advised to export my data from the Suunto forum itself using my forum profile personnal data. It seems little not related to my Suunto activities from suunto app, but let see. End of July and no news from “suunto” or from the bot which seems to answer me regularly to wait a little bit more for the relevant team to answer. GDPR / RGPD export should be a relatively quick process, not waiting for months

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen yes agreed, changes never sync back, I had to go recheck. It is plan similar route then delete the original I have used as a work around. As mentioned on the Wahoo app amendments do sync. It would be great if SA did the same. I’m also on Android.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos unfortunately you can’t as you won’t be able to know from which app notification comes from. This is iOS limitation, not the suunto app. Maybe something changed as long, long time ago I was working with iOS API’s. Garmin do not have such filtering, polar and Fitbit as well.
