I wanted to add some photos regarding the watch today data, but I am lost in technology, or maybe this is not working for the forum. Anyway the atmospheric pressure reported by weather forecast is 1009.1mb the whatch is showing 1015. Ok I can accept some tolerance, maybe the whether station is no so close, regardless that I am staying in to a big city. Anyway from the chart trend I might estimate a drop of 5 mb in the last 3 hours and no alarm. If it was only vibration then for shure I missed, due to messages that I am receiving constanly. On my Traverse watch this feature worked very well and was very helpful, for me at least, with vibration feedback and sound. I will still monitor this, maybe the drop was not in 3 hours, perhaps longer time.

@Frank-Stefan well, I am 53 and I am with you on that detoriating eyesight thing , but you won’t find a lot of sportswaches, with much bigger numbers on the screen. For me the Race screen is awesome good, while running. With 3 to 4 fields I can easily read the numbers without glasses and that’s really great for me. This also worked with the Vertical, so I am happy, that Suunto changed the fonts in that way.

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen said in Font size smaller than expected - can it be changed?: @David-Lown Did you check BigNumbers in the SuuntoPlus store? [image: 1698684425445-screenshot_20231030-184611.png] Thanks again - don’t know if this can be used in conjunction with the normal screens if I customise them?

@Brad_Olwin good to know this. I have had more than 6 runs with total distance more than 80km, some intervals and some easy long runs but no estimates so far. Hope to see this new firmware update on Monday

@David-l Well, yes, it seems on the reviews back then about the S9PP, not everybody had this problem but quite many people. Like I have said, it happened for me several times the day, and it was very annoying. I hope Suunto changed this mechanism now a bit.

@tiago if I’m right about my airport thing. It’s potentially increasingly untrue the further you get from the airports.

@Brad_Olwin Unfortunately, Stryd only offers syncing planned workouts (e.g., from its training plans) on the Apple Watch and Garmins. For Suunto, Polar and Coros, Stryd only supports importing activities into its platform after the fact. More information can be found here: https://help.stryd.com/en/articles/6879452-can-i-do-structured-workouts-on-suunto-or-polar# I think that this is a pity!

@Olaf-Gottschalk I do not think this is a huge problem, you may not have had a complete sync with the watch when you first looked at the app. It almost always does work in the background. The data are not “wrong” as your watch may have thought that you had woken up earlier, perhaps you were moving around in your sleep. Personally, I would take all of these metrics cautiously. If you are planning training based on what your watch is telling you IMHO you are entirely misguided. It is fine to use the information to help guide you but I believe nothing is better than your body and brain at making decisions regarding sleep, restfulness and your ability to exercise.

@Stefan-B Mine is not registering naps when I watch TV…perhaps you need to watch something more exciting:). just joking! Do you have autoDND set for when you are watching TV? If so, I would disable that and set later to see if that helps. That is about all I can think of.

@DrSilverthorn I think I did not because I had more than 50%… I did a hard reset and everything is fine so far… Next time I’ll put it on the charger as you said. Thanks for the tip

By the time it comes we will be very happy for it. I’m betting on bug corrections, software improvements and, just to keep life interesting, one or two new bugs!!! (Otherwise one or two of our members would have nothing to troll complain about .)

Two things: You are undertraining. Kudos and kick it up a notch. Your device is inaccurate. Get a new one. On this, keep in mind, nothing is 100% accurate and these aren’t medical grade HRV monitors.
