@Highlands of course that would be much better, but I wanted to make this small improvement possible without asking for the “whole thing” Garmin has this function and honestly, it was one of the few things I really had to weigh into the decision to nevertheless buy Suunto…

@Egika Sure. However, two examples: What if I set myself a steps-goal (e.g. next workout, I want to walk 15.000 steps). I recently was on a walking workout with my wife and had my workout running. Suddenly my wife was asking: I already have 10.000 steps. How many do you have? I could not answer the question as the workout display would not tell me the number of steps. Only at the end of the workout - when I completely stopped and saved the workout - I could answer the question, finally. I know, this might sound silly for professional sportspeople like you. But as the steps are counted anyway, why not making them available as datafield for displays during workouts? That should be very simple to implement, I suppose. Thanks.

@miriandfit I was persistent in my discussions with Suunto’s online support, seeking a complimentary repair for my watch. They offered a 10% discount code for their online store or the option to send my watch to Finland, with the understanding that I might have to cover shipping costs if Suunto didn’t acknowledge a hidden defect. Ultimately, I chose not to send it in for repair, as the watch is still functioning. I hope my experience is helpful to you.
