@HoBart don’t think so. There are quite some watch faces in the pipeline for Race/Vertical, but not these so far…

@ROBMONTGOMERY how do you know? Do you already have the watch? If yes, you can update your firmware and this will be changed.

Notifications updated, but still not possible to see the sender name in (at least) whatsapp notifications. Pretty annoying in group chats.

@Hari-Seldon said in Rolling out 3.19.18: I’ve never understood if the forum is read in any way by support or anyone else. I just hope that some mod or field tester forwards it to the developers; in my opinion it is better if you also send feedback via app, so that there is a better chance that reports are not lost in the void. Probably not, this is a playing field for users, not a support forum. As for support, I have to say, my experience was rather poor. Yesterday, I finally found the point in the app. However, it redirected me to the website. I was already there, but the chat button isn’t visible on the desktop. So you have to use your smartphone, which makes writing difficult. Then I couldn’t send a picture—the link was dead. Eventually, I did get help with my defective Smart Sensor, but one follow-up question was lost because the chat timed out. I wanted to report the problem with sleep tracking, but it’s pointless there. To put it briefly, the support chat is not a channel for describing a problem or situation in detail, but I just saw that the support contacted me via email afterwards

@Hari-Seldon I no longer have the Suunto Run to test it, but the Garmin HRM Pro+ does these things: ****RUNNING DYNAMICS HRM-Pro Plus captures running dynamics — such as vertical oscillation, ground contact time, stride length, vertical ratio and more — to help improve your form and enable running power on your compatible Garmin watch**** I am assuming that you can now see these things when you use the HRM with your Run.

@Tomi That’s what I thought after the hotfix, but unfortunately it still goes wrong regularly… Zonesense still stops after an hour of training.

@6iovanni there are tons of little things improved with each update that are not listed. Usually happening under the hood.

I’m on 3.19.18 3.19.20 and I calibrate it at the end of the session. It’s the 5th nth time I calibrate it and it keeps counting 1 km more every 4 or so… Same treadmill, same speed, same incline for every session.

@timefall said in Bug with H10?: Related to the OHR notes above, I’ve seen some weird behaviour on this first run where I had a belt (Wahoo TRACKR HR) paired and connected. During the run I think the watch was displaying OHR readings for heart rate, (with the usual spike at the beginning that I often see with OHR sensors, it peaked at like 191 during the warm up when it should have been something more like 120-130), but the synced fit file appears to be the data from the belt, with no huge spike at the beginning I’ve been struggling with a similar issue for some time now. When I asked support if it was possible for me to see different values on the watch than those actually recorded, they answered with a clear yes. This is possible in certain scenarios because the internal sensor always works, even when a strap is connected. btw: The heart rate recording is asynchronous, right? In the end, it’s a minute too early

To make it complete. Here are a few more examples of strange behavior: Display always on is anything else than display ALWAYS on. Lap announcements often ends “…average heart rate one hundred and” cut! After every restart mediaplayer switch from offfline to bluetooth switch from shuffle to playlist switch from individual volume to standard volume Pause/resume reminder, too sensitive, more annoying than useful Very annoying and disappointing.

@LGoSo nice, then I got you now! Yeah, you are absolutely right and good observation! Yes, if they would correct for that systemic error, they would get less average absolute deviation while also having more consistency. Therefore, they would need to say that measuring the HRmax with their all-out test and then estimating the T2 by x% of measured HRmax, outperforms ZS/DDFA! That’s why they probably did not try to optimize it and just discussed that it is ok to take the 85% of HRmax, as that is what is always used. Maybe with their test somewhere around 88% or 90% would be really accurate. That’s really disappointing…

@owend said in 3.21.14 Rolling out: I still need to use it in an actual session to see how well it works, but the interval training main screen does look clearer from initial check. Here’s how it looks on previous version on the left vs this new one on the right: [image: 1759146782988-intervals.jpg] I was hoping with this update that we’d also see the ability to customise the other screens though like in regular sports modes Edit: also found an article about this update that indicates there is a 5-sec countdown and out-of-range alerts for intervaals which would be welcome additions. IMHO with this update I receive too much alerts during my run. Is there a way to reduce that?

For me, the sleep data recording isn’t working reliably either. For whatever reason, my bedtime is set and I wear the watch normally. I wish there was a way to at least manually correct this, because the entire recovery calculation isn’t accurate. I hope for a function in the app to add the missing sleep manually: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/13267/add-sleep-manually

Right, so “unknown error occured” appears to happen if the media player menu/app is open on the watch. Go back to home screen and playlists can be created/edited. That appears to solve that part. A related issue I’ve noticed it is possible to reorder tracks in a playlist using the iOS app, but that order gets lost at some point and everything ends up jumbled again. Not sure what the ordering is based on or if it’s just random. I like to listen to some albums in their intended order, but that seems impossible with this watch right now.

@6iovanni A watch primarily for running and I doubt this will happen. I imagine the included profiles were a deliberated decision.

@thanasis no full idea of Suunto’s plans, but Run is definitely this: A stripped down version of their adventure watches. Smaller price - less features. At the same time some nice gimmicks made it into this new development.

@Egika That’s why I surmised in my initial post that DCR must’ve had a foundation with it via his experience with Garmin. Unfortunately, Suunto didn’t detail how this feature works, and I couldn’t find a calibration explaination in the user manual (perhaps I missed it?). I haven’t used a Garmin regualrly in about four years, and even when I was with that brand, I never ran on a track. So as I test it further, I want to be sure to explain any functionalities that don’t seem intuitive to the end users.

I am also having same issue with my earbuds. Earbuds works with the phone perfectly but with Suunto Run it disconnects. Sometimes I can manage whole 10k run without any disconnects but sometimes earbuds disconnects like every 5 minutes. Not tried to pair any other headphones yet.
