@Squirrel this is interesting. I have just checked on my watch (which is rebooted frequently due to testing). I still have the custom pace zones I have set like half a year ago. zone 5 is set to below 4min/km. And it seems to not have changed…

@Nelson-Diogo to me is seems to be as designed, as the preview in the app looks the same. My guess would be that Run just don’t have the baro trend data.

@MountainGOATtyrol very long text for the simple question: how can I search for activities in the description or tags? Plus for app questions it is always good not to post in the “watches” subforum. Plus it makes sense to mention the phone OS. But anyway: The magnifier glass is at the same position in IOS

As of yesterday, I’ve switched to Vertical 2. My initial impressions have shattered my preconceptions. My tests are ongoing. I haven’t sold Vertical 1 yet. It will be good for my comparative tests.

@Nikolai-Simonov said in Live location S+ app: @larrybbaker @egika @tuxbuster I’ve prepared a blind fix. unable to test it all, but, if you have time let me know if it works now. to test this build you need to enter to another tester group - https://testflight.apple.com/join/ZGZeRASB there’s also updated android build to verify if everything still works https://artifact.fra1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/live-t/apk/btle/live-t.apk The Testflight link is leading me to (84). Which works well and as designed for me. Thx!

Hi everyone. So, I did a test with two different types of external heart rate monitors: the usual Smart Band Heart Belt and a supposedly inferior brand called “Coospo.” It was disappointing. I even recorded an activity that didn’t require GPS (dancing) for the test… Using the Suunto strap, after a few moments… [image: 1775837202183-20260410_172654.jpg] [image: 1775837202242-20260410_172551.jpg] Now with an external one, Coospo brand… [image: 1775837258431-20260410_174315.jpg] In my case, it’s clear: my original headband, after being serviced and replaced (theoretically) with a new one, has stopped working again after 7 months. I’ve tried hardly washing it… only by hand. I’ll send it to the repair shop tomorrow, as it still has a year of warranty left. After that, I’ll sell it in case anyone wants to continue the crusade . I’m going back to the Polar H10…

@elbee I’m the opposite. I just use the map to follow a preset course so I don’t need to move it, especially now with the new update, I can leave it zoomed out and it will zoom I as I approach a turn. I get what you’re saying though, so I guess making it an option that you can toggle would be a better idea.

I don’t know what the battery is. I’ll check. But I was thinking of trying to replace the battery. This morning, during training, the watch lost connection with the heart rate monitor again. So the problem still exists. This takes approximately 30 to 45 seconds and then the connection is re-established.

@JebClydeNC 25 feet is not that much, and probably well in the expected tolerancy of fusedalti calibration. GNSS elevation is not perfect. Activities are processing fusedalti calibration and might explain your behaviour.

I guess it’s likely because the value is below 1% and/or shorter than 10s, so it’s rounded out

@off242 said in Suunto and Concept 2 indoor rowing: Hello, @Martin-Lillepuu . Curious if ErgSync has been tested with non C2 rowers, such as WaterRower with the Bluetooth option installed on its computer. As I’ve (sort of) resolved the issue surrounding Varia radar units with the Race2, ErgSync + WaterRower is next on my list—but if anyone has any input before I head into things, I’m interested in your experience(s). I believe you’re referring to the “commodule” that attaches onto the WaterRower S4 monitor. https://www.waterrower.com/wr_us/waterrower-com-module.html The other upgrade option for WaterRower is to get SmartRow, which is a replacement pulley that also sends metrics by bluetooth. https://www.waterrower.com/wr_us/smartrow.html http://www.smartrow.fit/ The S4 / commodule gets metrics by measuring paddle rotations. Compared to the Concept2, this is quite a bit more “optimistic” in its pace. For example, a 2:00/500m pace might be something like 1:48/500m with the S4. SmartRow is a power meter that measures the force you put on the drive, and uses the same power-to-pace conversion as the Concept2. Neither method transmits exactly like the Concept2 though. In theory, this should all be covered by “bluetooth FTMS (FiTness Machine Service)” protocol, but in practice, apps like EXR needs to do different things to accommodate each method. I use SmartRow and have not yet attempted to try to connect it to Suunto, as my current flow is to simply get the TSS load estimate from intervals.icu then edit my Suunto session report to change the TSS there to manual and replace it’s (lower) TSS with the result from intervals. I can try that in the near future, but that won’t be useful if you’re a ComModule person.

I have the same. Both for repeating alarms ad for one time alarms. If you reboot the watch, the time is shown on the watch face, but after you scroll through widgets or so ething else it’s gone again. I reported it to Suunto. Have to say, I have less of a need to show it on my watchface. Before this update I had an alarm for workdays, but had to disable that on Thursday eve and remember to enable it again before Sunday eve. Now I can just set an alarm for Monday till Thursday.

@2b2bff said in Suunto in Movies/Series..: @Tami999 I thought I had seen the cutout for the flashlight… But in another video you can see, that is no MIP: https://youtu.be/aJY_JuGDWSU?si=neCqVae3plyIqZft&t=267 Nevertheless, cool that it is no Garmin… Okay, maybe he’s just bought different strap :D. 8:23 definitely looks more like Athletic 2 V1 default strap (orange canyon) rather than Athletic 9 from Vertical 2 (Canyon) where holes area is darker orange color. Anyway good catch!

yes, that’s great! the only downside I found is that after having selected the week days (in customization mode) you have to remember to scroll back to the top in order to press Select, otherwise the selection isn’t saved: this behavior differs from other entries in the menu where flagging an option is enough to have it working.

@simspi I thought my sensor was just dying, but now I’m getting suspicious… I have a combi sensor from Coospo that is similar to yours (but crucially, no LED). Swapped the battery a week ago to be sure this wasn’t the issue. Speed and cadence metrics seem to drop at random intervals during rides, you don’t see it while riding but can see the gaps in the FIT file afterwards. 3 days ago a 93k ride was reported as 82k despite a good gps trace - and correcting distance in Strava added the missing 11k. 2 days ago it simply wouldn’t connect at all at the start of a long ride (also about 95k); I got no apparent sign of life from it during the whole activity. Yesterday it mysteriously connected again during a very short ride, but only displayed zero cadence throughout, and no cadence data was in the FIT file. Now that I’ve read your message I’ll do some more testing to narrow it down, starting with using a phone app to connect the sensor.
