@snow Maybe, I could buy that for a very slow recovery run at 7 - 8 min pace. But 4:10 pace is very close to my absolute limit and it sure does not feel like I am speed walking. But it seems like I am in good company with other walkers It comes back to, if GCT is for one foot per step or for both feet per stride, the rest follows mathematically. I guess Suunto should provide an authorative answer to clear up the confusion.

Worst for me is that there are still naps happening in the same time frame as sleep is detected. If you could go in and delete naps or adjust your sleep time (begin and end) like you can with Garmin and Coros, you could at least work around aggressive sleep detection.

My V1 Ti Solar is now 2.5 years old and my widget (the full screen one) regularly still shows full charging, and with full bars on the graph too, so I don’t think it is necessarily a generic ageing thing. On the other hand, it is known that solar panels lose efficiency with time - maybe it depends how much exposure to sunlight / UV your watch gets?

I’d appreciate though if you could reply to this last query, which is crucial for me, as the ocean have many other qualities other than the depth measurement (hr sensor for example). So you’re basically saying that it can’t be trusted for water resistance up to 100 m?

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Not a partner issue for me. I use My Plan (Beta) and after 2 weeks nothing was sync with all my Suunto Watches.

Indeed the sports app itself is not very special, the annoying part is getting the data to the watch. For wider implementation the actual problem is having an app or environment to send your BG data to the phone, across different platforms, since there’s no option to link to a Nightscout or similar in the Suunto phone app. So I’m currently testing two routes: 1) Using a small app that only functions as a bluetooth bridge, which receives and sends data from my own Nightscout; 2) My own Trio fork which handles data locally instead of over Nightscout. I’m sure there are other options, which is why I made the thread since I’m just messing around. In the best case scenario there’d be an html connection option in the suunto app, which would already solve a lot, and ideally a watch face instead of the sports app, but making do with what we have.

@Victor-Hugo-Santoyo Pay attention to the settings on your watch, the notification may be turned off. I don’t know how Intervals.icu works… I only use Suunto and Strava for data, no other add-ons.

Have never experienced this. ZoneSense requires a chest strap and an initial 10 minute warm up phase before it begins analyzing. If that’s what you are asking.
