Fifth test in open water activity I changed the watch to the other wrist (from left to right) in case symmetry during freestyle swimming was the issue. I followed buoys in the sea that were in a straight line (500meter in one way). GPS signal strength was between 75–85%. Weather conditions were excellent – clear sky. Brief stops with the hand completely out of the water for about 1 minute, to allow the signal to stabilize. Never pressed paused Before starting the activity, I waited 5 minutes after the GPS indicator turned green, for better locking, and of course synchronized with the app. — Unfortunately, still very poor results (after last upgrade), even after a soft reset / profile deletion and creation of a new one same results and with default openwater profile. I just bought a Suunto Race and I’m experiencing similar issues but pause, play and forward buttons work most of the time. The volume control never works… Shows the volume diagram but doesn’t respond to volume changes. I’m also noticed that there’s some clash between the new live tracking feature and the volume controls in general. I’m on an Oneplus Nord 4 with Android 15… Quite frustrating… And the old Polar pacer pro I had never had any issue with music controls with the same phone. In parallel when connected to the new live tracking app - with suunto plus - it happens that music controls are greyed out. Also cannot get my device ID to be identified in the live tracking portal…

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos reinstalled the app. Unpaired / repaired and restarted watch. IOS on 18.5 as well as latest v. of App (obviously) Both activities with issue don’t sync. I was using the HR zones S+ at that time

Hi, Can anyone help with this dilemma please. I can’t seem to figure out how to get my indoor rowing and cycling sessions to log on the phone app as an activity. If I look through my watch logbook the sessions are all there, however they are not showing/syncing to my app at all so it looks as though I’m not doing as many workouts as I am. So my weekly data is all wrong! Any ideas anyone? Many thanks Tasha

Bonjour a tous, J’utilise une Suunto 5 peak depuis 1 an, que j’ai connecté à mon capteur de FC (Polar H9). D’habitude tout va bien, à la fin d’une activité la montre charge 20 sec le temps de tout synchroniser et mon activité se télécharge sur mon application… Or depuis ce matin, en revenant d’une sortie vélo, ma montre reste bloqué sur l’écran “synchro données FC” avec le petit chargement… Cela fait 3h que rien n’a bougé… Je ne peux pas quitter cette synchro, j’ai essayé de déconnecter et reconnecter ma montre, d’enlever et remettre la pile de mon capteur de FC mais rien… Le seul moment où je n’ai plus cet écran c’est quand je reçois une notif qui s’affiche donc sur ma montre. Quelqu’un a t’il déjà eu ça, et/ou sait comment arrêter ça ? Merci ! Björn

Hi all! My Android mobile phone can connect and be paired with my Suunto 5, but it keeps on pairing once both devices are connected. Obviously, no performance data is automatically synced. The app and softwares are updated. What might be the problem? Thanks!

Interesting take! A lightweight Suunto with Stryd support would be a game-changer for runners. I doubt they’ll add it, but if they did, I’d consider it too. The T6c was legendary—2000 miles is impressive!
