@ElectronBadger Here’s my impression after using SV for 4 months. I love it, really. It feels and looks great. I do a lot more trainings thanks to the app and its coach. My results have improved significantly over the last few months. I do running, trail running, cycling, hiking, trekking, weight lifting, stretching and vertical running activities - there is everything I need. Using Suunto HR belt I get excellent HR recordings. Zone Sense is great. GPS accuracy is great. Battery life is stellar. I’m waiting for the black nylon strap to be available where I live. Thank you, all you gals and guys at Suunto for making the best watch I’ve ever had.

@2b2bff I have the opposite problem, my vo2 max underestimates me. It shows me a minute worse time for 5km (I have 24.50) suunto shows 25.56 for 10km it underestimates me by at least 2-3 minutes. I also ran a threshold test from suuntoplus where I had a time of 24.50 for 5km, so I don’t understand either

Hello, I came across this interesting post by @Tieutieu on the subject, but it seems that this is not possible on the Run i.e. as soon as I enable a new route on SA to be synchronized with the watch SA tells me that I have to stop current activity and exit any menu. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

@Shlomo-Sackstein Hi, so did you do anything to the watch in the end? I have similar experience with my S9P recently. Basically at first it had the same symptoms as yours, 50%-60% then suddenly prompt for recharge. Then I tried to calibrate the charge calculation by discharging (painfully as it keeps shutting down under 50%) it to near 0% then recharging to full. The percentage during daily usage became more consistent from 99% to 10% however the actually battery capacity was still quite low, and was degrading quickly, maybe only 20% of the original capacity. The watch is being sent to support for checking. (More updates: Support replaced battery two days later)

Merci ! Björn

Hi all! My Android mobile phone can connect and be paired with my Suunto 5, but it keeps on pairing once both devices are connected. Obviously, no performance data is automatically synced. The app and softwares are updated. What might be the problem? Thanks!

Interesting take! A lightweight Suunto with Stryd support would be a game-changer for runners. I doubt they’ll add it, but if they did, I’d consider it too. The T6c was legendary—2000 miles is impressive!
