@Fwinns said in Suunto app sync issue: @Stefano-M64 Yes, I did that the first time (unpair/pair, reinstall app), no change, it was the same Suunto app version. I downgraded the watch firmware yesterday, to see if it solves things you can also try to logoff/login from within the app and then sync again

@Stefano-M64 yes yes I know that, I wrote this just for fun, because it also depends a lot on the ambient air temperature

@2times4 hey. I am doing similar ones. My setup is: Before starting in “excersize options” I would go to intervals and setup it like: Repetitions: 5 Interval: Distance 500m Recovery: Duration 00’30s After I start and done with warm up/ etc I would go to “Intervals” watch screen and start my intervals. After I am done with one iteration I reser the intervals from the same screen so it is ready again. I get my rest and do it again. Not super ideal, but works pretty alright for me.

@The_77 thanks a lot for your reply! I never saw alerts before a turn, this is what I mean. And from what I’m reading I am not missing much

@maszop That’s not what I meant. If you look at the HR before the 40 minute mark you see an average of 100-something. After the 40 minute mark 80-something. One of them is incorrect. Especially the sudden drop shortly before the 40 minute mark is not possible. I have done an experiment a while ago with an Epix Pro, using an Coros HRM and the Race S, waking a walk. Neither of the watches was spot on. Have to look it up. But I guess I should start a new topic for this…

@daniele-celauro I’m having the exact same issue on S9 1st generation. HR tracking worked fine a couple of days ago, but today completely vanished. Have you solved it?

I had exactly the same experience with my 7. It had one new screen under warranty but was out of warranty by the time it burnt the second time. When it refused to stay connected to my phone I called it a day and bought a Race which is fantastic, and twice the watch the 7 ever was. I think it was a misguided product from Suunto, but everyone makes mistakes and knowing what I know now I should never have bought it. Everyone makes mistakes though, and more than happy to buy another one.

Merci ! Björn

Hi all! My Android mobile phone can connect and be paired with my Suunto 5, but it keeps on pairing once both devices are connected. Obviously, no performance data is automatically synced. The app and softwares are updated. What might be the problem? Thanks!

Interesting take! A lightweight Suunto with Stryd support would be a game-changer for runners. I doubt they’ll add it, but if they did, I’d consider it too. The T6c was legendary—2000 miles is impressive!

@Kutmore Same thing, support said the barometer was faulty, out of the blue I’ll try your method, thanks!! Edit: did not work, tried on another computer that never add suunto software as well, no dice. My watch is bricked, shame
