@larrybbaker same problem on my SV, decided to delay my update from a bad previous updates experiences and here we go again, WiFi does not work and for some reason my Suunto apps starts saving batteries and watch does not get for example weather updates, I need to reopen suunto app manually every now again. I feel more like a Suunto firmware tester, not a user. After hours i decided to perform hard reset, no more option to turn on/ off as it says automatically even when toggle switch is there. So far all is ok apart from the configuration I have to perform now custom watch faces etc… bad experience

Vertical user here. Ordered Suunto Race. Its ok watch, but on Vertical when i move hand i can read all the info from watchface. On Race i see only time (YES i know i can set wake up when move to see full watchface but than it becomes flashlight) :D. Its bother me so much, probably return and won’t sell Vertical. I love that its more read-able during trainings, becouse on Vertical it was not always. I like colors, crown is not bad but makes no difference for me, i like buttons. Also Vertical seems more like a tool, with Race Ti i feel like toy or too elegant thing. Vertical have perfect design (as Ocean, but never seen live) More “G-Shock” design, Race/Race S is more elegant to suit. Don’t get me wrong, Race is great, i just get used to these tank-type watch. Damn. I wish we could have technology that screen is MIP, and after press button/surf menu/activities become AMOLED. Would be perfect watch for me. I think I’ll keep my great Vertical and buy Vertical v2 when release

@Isabelle-Licoine Yes, I have done a reset on the watch and I am able to add network from mobile app and download maps again with the latest SW. Thank you.

Actually, Suunto counts the same steps as my Garmin does. If you record an activity Garmin presents you the steps per minute and Suunto the revolutions per minute. But the step count is about the same.

@daniele-celauro I’m having the exact same issue on S9 1st generation. HR tracking worked fine a couple of days ago, but today completely vanished. Have you solved it?

Worth a look: [link removed] I ran into the exact same issue not too long ago! Thought my Suunto 7 just decided to retire early. Turns out, the problem was with Google Pay struggling to sync properly after adding a new card. What worked for me was removing the card from Google Pay on my phone first, then restarting both the watch and the phone. After that, I readded the card on my phone, made sure it was verified, and only then tried adding it to the watch again. No factory reset needed, thankfully!

Bonjour a tous, J’utilise une Suunto 5 peak depuis 1 an, que j’ai connecté à mon capteur de FC (Polar H9). D’habitude tout va bien, à la fin d’une activité la montre charge 20 sec le temps de tout synchroniser et mon activité se télécharge sur mon application… Or depuis ce matin, en revenant d’une sortie vélo, ma montre reste bloqué sur l’écran “synchro données FC” avec le petit chargement… Cela fait 3h que rien n’a bougé… Je ne peux pas quitter cette synchro, j’ai essayé de déconnecter et reconnecter ma montre, d’enlever et remettre la pile de mon capteur de FC mais rien… Le seul moment où je n’ai plus cet écran c’est quand je reçois une notif qui s’affiche donc sur ma montre. Quelqu’un a t’il déjà eu ça, et/ou sait comment arrêter ça ? Merci ! Björn

Interesting take! A lightweight Suunto with Stryd support would be a game-changer for runners. I doubt they’ll add it, but if they did, I’d consider it too. The T6c was legendary—2000 miles is impressive!
