I just tried this since I was wondering the same thing (I have two phones that I switch between, one running old SA software and one with the new offline map option). So it will work, but the key is to remove the pairing from the watch only (Settings > Connectivity > Paired devices > MobileApp > Forget). This will keep the watch associated with the device you are moving away from and thus keep the offline maps as available option. However, if you remove the watch from the app by using the “Manage connection” option, offline maps disappear. I assume this will work for a tablet running SA as well.

  @isazi Thanks for the update, I really do hope we get the features, as swimming is primarily my sport. And the watch is both diving and sport advertised. Also, the fact that Suunto recommended this knowing my use case does not seem to make sense at this point. I would really like to get involved to help the delays on the Ocean, as it is a solid product just lacks the support in comparison to the other outdoor watches.

  Oh yea, and another thing, when switching between PM5 workouts, the distance always reflects the last distance from the PM5, Example, warm up row in “just row” shows distance for that, then switching to intervals, there is a new distance, then cool down row in “Just row” will be the last logged distance that then gets sent to the mobile app. A solution could be to have a dedicated distance variable on the watch app that continuously adds the distances during the whole workout for later sending.

  @Christoph-Van-Laethem In here the bubble appears : https://www.suunto.com/fr-fr/Assistance/ I realized that the bubble doesn’t come on when using my main browser (Firefox), probably due to the ad blockers I added, so i use Edge only for Suunto support
