@Efejota said in Offline Maps and Routing in Suunto App: Offline apparently requires that the watch has been paired (previously?) I just tried this since I was wondering the same thing (I have two phones that I switch between, one running old SA software and one with the new offline map option). So it will work, but the key is to remove the pairing from the watch only (Settings > Connectivity > Paired devices > MobileApp > Forget). This will keep the watch associated with the device you are moving away from and thus keep the offline maps as available option. However, if you remove the watch from the app by using the “Manage connection” option, offline maps disappear. I assume this will work for a tablet running SA as well.

@Brad_Olwin Here here to all of what you said! In some respects, I’m tempted many times to turn OFF much of the detailed analysis features and just go by feel, and use watches for time and distance data (which dual band GNSS has made scary accurate!). I had someone tell me when I first started running to learn to run by feel, and specifically to go to the extreme at times of literally covering the watch screen with tape (a little harder now with touch lol) to force myself to focus on the run, not the watch. I haven’t followed that as much as I probably should, but just like other posts I’ve made across this forum in recent days, there’s a point that simpler is better. And even with sleep data, my personal take has become more and more to use it as a reference for long term trends, rather than a detailed to the minute view of a particular night.

I have now new informations from the support: At the moment, we are very sorry to inform you that only Points of Interest (POIs) can be set. This means you can mark locations, but the GPX route import and direct route guidance on the watch is not currently supported.

@Sportsfreund said in Suunto and Concept 2 indoor rowing: Good work, guy. But really, there’s no need for a connection like this. The PM5 needs to be connected to a smartphone to plan and upload races. What we need is a connection from C2 to Suunto to actually use the load values in CTL/ATL, etc. A connection from the C2 logbook to import into Suunto seems not within the scope of what is possible with a SuuntoPlus app, but rather, that ability would need to come from a collaboration of Concept2/Suunto themselves. If Suunto wishes to do that, then perhaps they can also talk to SmartRow so sessions from the SR logbook could also auto-upload to Suunto? http://www.smartrow.fit/ This setup would be for people not currently using the PM5 bluetooth connection to send data elsewhere like ErgData or EXR, etc. People on alternate rowers like the RP3 or the SmartRow system I use may one day benefit from the work here if it extends beyond the Concept2. I have two data connections from my power meter, so one can go to my SmartRow app and another could go to a connection like this. Perhaps eventually C2 will update the PM5 to allow dual bluetooth signals as many cycling power meters have.

I really like the idea of them. I currently have the Shokz Aeropex and they work very well for me but on longer outings I do start to feel them push against the top of my ears at the back. I had been considering the shokz of a similar design but the additional run-specific features in the Spark could well win me over. I’ll wait for some reviews regarding comfort and sound quality though as I don’t think there’s going to be anywhere near me that stocks them I can try them before buying.

@Christoph-Van-Laethem In here the bubble appears : https://www.suunto.com/fr-fr/Assistance/ I realized that the bubble doesn’t come on when using my main browser (Firefox), probably due to the ad blockers I added, so i use Edge only for Suunto support
